Charleston, South Carolina

This is the coastline of Charleston, South Carolina. I took the photo in July 2001 from the ferry that runs tours out to Fort Sumter.

I got out of the Army in 1956 and got a Job right away on the Harbor Cruise Boat in Charleston,S.C. Where I was raised. I made many trips to Ft.Sumter and up the Cooper River and back. At that time the Name of the Boat was the”Seascape” but it is no longer in service, along with its sister Deepsea Fishing boat the “Captiva.” I worked them both and have been searching on the internet for months trying to find a picture of the two. But no luck. They were tied up in front of the white Ft.Sumter Hotel on the Battery but I found out a Hurricane took the dock and one of the boats away. The owner,Mr. Thompson died in a small aircraft crash looking for the lost boat. Them were the days. Nice pic of the Harbor.
