Yesterday, I visited the U.S. Army Aviation Museum at Fort Rucker. This was actually my fourth visit to the museum during the week, as I had previously been there for three graduation ceremonies.

As you might imagine, the aviation museum had airplane and helicopter exhibits. The museum seems to be renovating some areas and updating exhibits, so the future displays may be even more informative than those I saw. For your viewing interest, I offer a few photos of the aircraft in the following two posts.

    Various aircraft inside the museum.

The museum contains a memorial to Army aviators killed in Southeast Asia during the 1960′s and 1970′s. There are names on the wall of more than 4,300 soldiers killed during those two decades.
