A man whom I admire for his tireless work on behalf of liberty and morality has entered the political arena in Alabama. Dr. Mel Glenn is a candidate for state senate for District 20.
Dr. Glenn is known to many through his association with the Foundation for Moral Law and his frequent public appearances in support of the public display of the Ten Commandments and the acknowledgement of God. Interestingly, Dr. Glenn is the first black Republican to ever run for this senate seat. The district includes approximately 130,000 people and encompasses Pratt City, Smithville, north Birmingham, Eastlake, Roebuck, Huffman, and Pinson.
I urge all Alabama citizens within Dr. Glenn’s district to vote for him. His public example and personal integrity will help lead this state to a place of stability, decency, and honesty that has long been needed. With the history of political manipulation and corruption in Alabama politics, we need upstanding men like Dr. Glenn to help steer the soul of this state.
